More of Iky and his birthday!

Well Izaac had in his own words "Super Cool Birthday!" We went out to dinner with my mom, brother, Laura, and Lila, to Outback. He is so funny he walked in the restaurant and said : Its my Birthday can you sing to me please!" The hostess looked at him and said " You don't want me to sing, but I will get someone to sing to you, OK?" He looked at her and said "OK". He is getting so grown up. Today we had his party at school. He was so excited to be the center of attention!

Happy 4th Birthday Iky!

Its hard to believe that my little man is 4 today!

Iky brings joy to everyday. He loves his superheros, trains, he loves to read I spy books, and writing letters to his daddy( you know like " A, J , I, Z" LOL).Iky can write his own name and a few other words. Its been hard for him not having his daddy around, but he is proud of his daddy for joining the army. These pictures are from last night, i forgot to take a picture of him this morning , so i will add more later. I just want Izaac to know that i love him and that i am grateful to my heavenly father for bringing him into my life! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY IZAAC MASON JEWELL!!

She is Here!!

Welcome to the world baby Lila Marie Bell-Alvarez. Its hard to believe my little brother is a father. Lila was born on Thanksgiving day at 10:03pm, she was 6lbs 6oz and 19ins long. She has blue eyes and blonde hair. Mother, baby and father are all doing good.

Iky was not happy that they didn't use the name that he picked. So i told him that he can call her that for her nickname. So here is Iky and "Maryland" Lol.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving . It was nice to spend it with family. We went up to my mother in laws house in WV. My mom came up too. It was hard to believe that it was the first time in 8 years that Jason and I weren't together. But all in all it was a great day.

Life without Jase

Well Jason has been gone for 5 weeks now and it feels like forever. He is doing good, he past his fit test is now officially in Basic Training. For those of you that didn't know he did past his fit test the first time( he could do push ups the army way, and some other stuff) so he was sent to FTU ( Fitness Training Unit) or as Jase like to call it "Fat Camp". Well he was there for 3 weeks and it helped him out alot and well as you know he was able to pass his test. Because he had to go to FTU he wont be done with training till Jan. BUT he gets to come home for 2 weeks for Christmas.
As for Iky and me, we are hanging in there. We even have a count down till daddy comes home poster, and in case you were wondering there are only 37 days left. Iky is taking alot harder than i thought. the other night he just sat on my lap and cried for his daddy. It just broke my heart. I've been trying my best to keep him busy so as not to let him have time to think about it, but when the day is over and its just me and him at home I guess thats when it hits him. We look forward to the weekend just to hear Jasons voice, and that when all my tears come! Anyways we knew that it wasnt going to be easy, all we can do is to look to the future and know that this to shall pass.

Be all you can be in the Army!

Well after a long week Jason is finally enlisted in the Army. Well for those of you that didn't know Jason decided to join the army and go to collage to be a physical therapists.and this past week has been hell, he has had to cut out all carbs and sugars, and workout 2x day for min of 2 hrs each time. All his hard work paid off and now he is Private Jewell. He leaves 10/09/08 for BCT for 9 weeks, then he will be home for Christmas and New Years, and then he leaves again for AIT for 16 weeks! Now tell me how much that sucks, we didn't know that he would have to go away for AIT we thought it would be around here but they decided to send him to Texas. I know that it is going to be rough but i know that this is what he wants so i will support him through it. All in all i am proud of Jason in finally deciding what he wants to do with his life!
