Getting Settled
So we are out of the hotel now and in our new home. We have lived in apts for so long that it is so nice to have so much space, but we have no clue what to do with! LOL Slowly we are starting to hang things up on the walls, starting to make this house feel like a home:) Izaac has started going to the school he will be staying at and he LOVES it. He also rides the bus now! I have to say I was really scared for him at 1st but he seems to be doing great and really loves it:) Jase is loving the fact that his drive every morning is no longer 30mins but now just 10mins:) As for me I am enjoying my free time! We live in a very nice little town, we have met some really great people and we are very glad that this is where we will be for the next few years:)

My oh my!!!
Well it has been 2 yrs and 2months since my last post!!! Well a ton of stuff has happened and I am going to do my best to get you all up to date!! LOL So as part of my News Years Resolution I am going to start keeping this thing up to date:)
So here is an overview-
2009- 2010 Well Iky loved his SureStart class, and started Kindergarden In Sept of 2010 he had a really great teacher Ms.Bleeker she was strict and very organized and he absolutely loved her! In Jan 2010 Jase had his 1st back surgery it went well he was able to get around pretty well and lost a ton of weight the best part was that he was not in so much pain anymore:) But sadly he ended up hurting his back again while doing physical therapy in July and had to have his 2nd back surgery in Nov of 2010. As for me I had one of the best gifts a girl could ask for my MOM came to visit me in Germany for 6 weeks in April- May 2010!! She was here for Mothers day and we went to Paris just us girls and had a blast!!! I was sad when she left but she brought me our family dog Koda and he helped me not feel so home sick:)In Sept 2010 I started working again as a line cook for the Village Grille that was here on post, it was nice to go back to doing what I love:)
2011- Jan 2012 I am going to start with Jase, well after his 2nd back surgery Jase was doing alot better, but he lost the feeling in his left leg and still hasnt gotten the feeling completely back, and may never get it back. He does still suffer from chronic muscle spasms in his back but is has been a good sport cause he says he is not in as much pain as he use to be! So as you know Jase is in the Army and so he is required to do certain physical activites and with his back he was really not able to do them. So Jase had been offered a job doing the work he does in the Army but as a civillian and we at 1st werent sure about it but once we realized that he wasnt going to be able to stay in the Army once his contract was up we decided to take it! So Jase started his Medical Board in June 2011 and we heard back from them in Nov 2011 and so Jasons last day official day as an active duty member will be Jan 27th 2012. In Dec of 2011 Jase got his offical job offer to be a GS9 and so the timing of everything went really good, the best part of it all was that the job offer was for us to stay here in Germany for at least another 3 yrs!!! Well Iky finised Kindergarden and stared 1st grade!He had yet again another great teacher Ms. Laporte!! I cant believe I have a 1st grader now!!! He loves school so much, he has been very blessed to have had some great teachers:) He is finally starting to read and he does great on his spelling test, and he really rocks in math!!! We are very proud of him!! One of the hardest thing he has been dealing with the past couple of months is that we were going to be moving and he was going to have to leave his friends and that he wouldnt make knew ones:( But he started school Jan 23rd 2012 and I am glad to report that he made some friends!!!! Sadly the school he is going to is not the school he will be staying at for long because we are still in the hotel but he really loves school and said that he didnt mind having to switch again, but that he really didnt want to miss to much school!!! I was just going to home school him till we found our new house but he really loves school so much he wanted to go! I have no clue where that comes from cause I never really liked school!! LOL Anyways he did turn 7 in Dec 2011 and he got a DS that he has been asking for since last yr! We had told him he had to learn to read and so he was on a quest to do so, and even though he doesnt read 100% yet he is doing really good and so I gave in a bought it for me.... I mean him;) As for me this past yr I turned the big 30!!!! LOL and for my birthday I was sick as a dog!!!!! But before that I was in heaven, also known as Greece!!!!! Iky and I ( Jase couldnt go) went to Greece for a week with some of my friends and their kidds! We had a great time and hope to go again this year:) While we were there we went to an island that had 400 plants that only grow on that island and I of course was allergic to 1 or more plants on this island! And I of course didnt bring my inhaler or any allergy meds with me, because come on face who thinks they are going to get sick in Heaven!!! Not me!!! So as you know if I dont keep my allergies in controll I get my asthma really bad and so this is what happened, well we had gone to the island on Thurs and I woke up Fri not feeling to good and by that night I felt like crap!! Thank goodness I have great friends cause I am not the nicest person when I an sick!! LOL Well we left greece Sat night and can I tell you traveling sick if you dont already know not the greatest feeling in the world, my ears popped and I couldnt hear for about a week, Jase took me to the hospital and I had to get 4 breathing treatments, had to take steroids for a week just to open my lungs! It was bad I was out of breathe just walking to the bathroom!! Oh what a great birthday gift, oh I forgot to mention my birthday was the day after we got back! Oh well I am doing better now!! Anyways I also have started baking cakes ,it started off being only for the birthadys of my close friends kids, but people really loved them and started asking me to make them for all sorts of different occasions and were even wanting to pay me!!! It was great the 1st few were ok but by the summer time I was kicking butt!! I have a really good friend Chantel that would come over an help me and she is great cause for one she puts up with my crazyness and 2nd I would tell her what I wanted to do and she would help me bring my thoughts together!! In Dec 2012 I had to quit my job since we were going to be moving. So I am currently a Stay at Hotel( we dont have a home yet, lol) Mom:)
Ok so I know my thought are a little crazy and hard to follow but thats me!! So let me say this Jase is out of the Army and has started working! His new job is in Landstuhl Germany so we have moved from Heidelberg Germany to Landstuhl, it is only about an hour away. Right now we are living in a hotel untill we can move into the house we found, and that will be on Feb 15th 2012!!!
So you are all cought up and I am going to do my best to put up pictures when we get to the new house cause everything is packed up for right now including my SM cards with all the pictures.

Long post.....Part One
OK so its been a while since I have posted anything and boy have a ton of things changed!!! Well I will try my best to give you a quick little overview into whats been going on in our lives since April when we got home from Florida.
April-
Well Izaac and I got back from a nice long week in Florida only to come back and go down to the beach for Easter with my cousins. It was cold but that didn't stop us from having fun:)We got to go swimming at Mari's indoor pool and played in the sand by the boardwalk. No worries we left a note to the Easter Bunny to let him know where to find us, and Izaac was happy as can be when he woke up to see his basket, and he also got a mini trampoline from the "Yaya bunny"that was waiting for him when he got home, he loves jumping on it. Then it was back to work and school for us.
May-
Well nothing much to report here other then mothers day, my mom and aunt and some cousins came over for breakfast and a movie.And since Jason was still away at AIT, and we didn't have the money to go down to see him for his birthday but my lovely husband turned 27years old:) Izaac played soccer for the 1st time, he did really good. And we also took some picture of him at a local park. He is such a big cheese:)
June-
Man June was a crazy month! Izaac and I got to go to Great Wolf Lodge for the 1st time and we had a blast:) Then we had Izaac's graduation from Preschool/daycare it was really cute, we were glad the Mawmaw, Brittney, and Pawpaw Jim were able to come out and see him. He was so cute and he said he wanted to be a Chef when he grows up:) Makes me proud.
Then we went from his graduation to a family tradition, one we haven't done in a while, ROAD TRIP down to Texas to see Jason graduate from AIT!!!!!!
My mom, Ronald, Izaac and I drove down to Texas (25hrs done in 30hrs not bad if I so myself). It was great kinda like the old days when we use to drive down to Florida every year for vacation. We left Tuesday night after my mom and Izaac got home from Sesame Place,and we arrived in Houston, Texas around 11pm Wednesday night where we crashed. Then we were on the road to San Antonio to hang out with Jason. We had a blast we went to the River walk in downtown San Antonio and ate some great Mexican food.
Then Friday was Jason's big day! We were all so Proud of him and so happy to have him to finally come home:)
Jason got to come home with us so it was nice to have an extra driver. But sadly Jason was only home for 10 days and we had to get alot done cause we were soon going to all be moving to Germany. My family gave us a nice breakfast going away party that ended up lasting all day. Gotta love my crazy family.
So as June came to an end Jason came and left us again but this time he was going ahead to get things ready for us as we waited on our passports. Oh and here is a picture of my little Lila at 6months old.
July-
Well since we knew for sure that we were going to be going to Germany I wanted to make sure that I got to hang out with my best friend Rachel and her boys before I left so we spend the 4th of July with them and we had a blast:) Then Izaac and I were of to Florida again to visit my dad and family but this time Izaac would be staying while I came home and finished working and packing for Germany. It was Izaac's 1st time being with my dad with out me and 1st time being away from me for longer then a week. He was there for 3 weeks!! I know I really missed him but I really needed some me time and I wanted him to get to know my dad and his family better. I know he missed me but I know he had a blast with my little brother Nathan who is only 6 months older, my dad said the were inseparable. And now Izaac has the kind of bond with my Dad, Lola Connie, Kenny, and Nate that is very special and that he did have before.
Well not much else happened in July except my birthday I am now 28yrs old and I had a great day, I hung out with my cousins Mely and Lia drinking Pina Coladas. And they made me the best cake ever:)Then the next day I went shopping with Rachel and went to dinner and a movie. What more could I have asked for:)
August-
I tell ya August came and went! Well when Jason got to Germany he was on a waiting list for housing and so until he got a house for us we weren't allowed to come. Well on Aug 3rd Jason got to pick and see our new home, and so then all we were waiting for was our passports, and they came in on Aug 4th. Well My last day of work was bittersweet on Aug 10th. I flew out to pick up Izaac on Aug 11th had a nice time with my Dad and family we went to Disney World, gotta love that place:) Then we flew home on Aug 14th. Did some last minute shopping and hanging out with my mom the packers came to pack the stuff we were sending to Germany Monday Aug 17th the stuff we were putting in storage on Aug 18th and we left on the plane to come to our new home on Aug the 19th. whew just remembering it makes my head spin:)
Well we arrived in Frankfurt, Germany on Aug 20th at 5am, it was a great flight. It was nice to be with Jason again and have our family back together. Izaac was the happiest kid in the world to be with his daddy:)
The next 2 weeks we spent getting adjusted to the time, but we made some good friends and Izaac got registered for Sure Start, its the Pre-school they have here on base.
Sept-
Once we got adjusted to the time change, we were able to go downtown Heidelberg to see the sights and the castle. Izaac has become a very good photographer. So now I can be in some of the pictures with my hubby:)
Well Izaac started school on Sept 15th, he was mad at 1st cause he thought it was going to be like school back in the states where he was there all day ( cause even though he called it school it was really daycare), but when I told him it was only for part of the day he said he would try it. As we walked to school, yes we walked cause the elementary school is right behind the house, Izaac got teary eyed but was a big boy and went to school. He was very happy to see that one of the friends he had made the 1st few weeks we were here was going to be in his class. He had a great 1st day and came home and told me that he made new friends and loved his teachers. And we have had no more teary eyes since then:) Oh yeah I had forgot to buy him a backpack so he went to school with an earth friendly target bag, he was a good sport about it, but while he was at school I went and got him a real backpack he was very happy cause he also got a pokeman key chain for it:)
